Charlie is a 12-year-old Perth boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disease, at the age of eight. For the past four years, his parents have fought an unrelenting and costly battle to give their son the best life possible. We’ll be looking to replicate the amazing fund-raising efforts of last year with several live auctions and some fantastic raffle prizes! We are very proud to announce this as an Open Lunch for the club and you are welcome to invite spouses, colleagues and friends. Good Afternoon All You are invited as Life, Honorary and Financial Members to attend the AGM at 12.30pm next Friday 26th - just prior to the lunch. Please note that guests and non-financial members are not permitted at the AGM. As the AGM will be held in the Restuarant where we will be having the lunch, please let your guests know that they're welcome to get themselves a drink at the Rooftop Bar and then head down when the lunch starts at 1pm. There will be no late entry permitted to members on the day who have not registered for the AGM beforehand. Hello gents, The next Beer & Beef Club luncheon of 2021 is being held at The Stables Bar in Perth on Friday 25th June. If you have not been before, this venue is housed on the site of Perth's old horse stables. Walking down the lane to leave the hustle & bustle of Hay Street behind, you will be greeted by a landscaped beer garden and stylish restaurant. For this lunch, we will be dining in The Basement which is a private dining room. Seats are limited to 50 so don't dilly dally! Hopefully we'll also hear a word or two from Angus Donovan who is a second-year apprentice at The Stables and our most recent Beer & Beef Scholarship recipient. After 10 years at their George Street Bistro in East Fremantle, they opened Juniper & Bay in 2014. It's been a long time between drinks lads and we're very much looking forward to getting back together with you all to enjoy some great beer, some great beef and great fellowship. 2021 has certainly hit the ground for many of us and I personally can't wait to get away from work life for the afternoon and enjoy several (read many!) beers at our first club lunch for the year. Good Afternoon Gents   Further to the announcement at our last lunch, we would like to invite you to attend the AGM for the Club, next Friday before the main event. We do need a quorum of 10 members, so we'd sincerely appreciate your support in attending. Please confirm you are attending by booking a ticket below - no cost of course. The meeting will start at 12.25pm sharp, so please arrive by no later than 12.15pm to get yourself a beer - self funded - have a quick chat and be seated for the meeting to start on time. We will finish the meeting by no later than 12.55pm in readiness for the lunch to start. (As it is an official meeting please limit drinks to one beer) I'll be sending a communication to all attendees for the main lunch that entry will not commence until 1pm. We've had a few lunches now where attendees (both members and guests) are arriving up to 15min before the start and expecting the beer to start flowing.  If we could please you to let your guests know that we have our AGM on and entry to the lunch will commence from 1pm, that would certainly alleviate some pressure.
