They have continued to expand their food and drink empire to include Juanita's Bar in Subiaco in 2018, and King Somm in 2019.    King Somm, much like their other two venues, is about that 'neighbourhood bar' atmosphere - a place where the staff know your name and the place feels like home. Princi and his team have worked hard to create a cruisy and laid-back style to their restaurants and bars, creating a welcoming place that everyone can enjoy.    The head chef at Juanita's and King Somm will be joing us for a delicious afternoon. For entree, we can expect vitello tonnato and pickled mushroom with a rosemary crumb. Charlie is a 13-year-old Perth boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disease, at the age of eight. For the past five years, his parents, Barry & Kristy, have fought an unrelenting and costly battle to give their son the best life possible. There won't be a dry eye in the place when you hear their story!   We’ll be looking to surpass the amazing fund-raising efforts of last year with several live auctions and some fantastic raffle prizes! For those of you who remember the lunch at Henry on 8th back in February 2019, Boston Brewing put on an amazing show of their beers and we now have the opportunity to dive into them again.    Situated in the private dining area, it's a perfect space for the Club and several of the committee have frequented the establishment a couple of times to test the menu - it's even been said that one individual in particular loved the 300gm char-grilled scotch fillet so much, that he ordered (and devoured) a second! I can confirm as the author of this invite and being the individual in question that the account is indeed true! I thoroughly enjoyed the food coma that lasted for several hours afterwards.   We'll announce the full menu and the beers that will be served up shortly, but this is definitely not a lunch to miss, so secure your tickets early for yourselves and your guests.
