Running With Thieves
13:00 – 15:00
Gentlemen, Ticket sales close tomorrow for lunch next week...Don't miss what's going to be an epic lunch! Running with Thieves have been great supporters of the Club and of Ruah so now's our chance to turn up to repay them. See you there! ******************************************************************************************* South Fremantle. Salt in the air. Beer brewed metres from your table. Our March 27th Beer & Beef Club lunch is heading to Running With Thieves. If you haven’t been, you’ve been missing out. Sitting on iconic South Beach, Running With Thieves is home to a fully operational brewery and distillery. Craft beer. Premium spirits. Proper cocktails. All made on site. No shortcuts. No pretending. It’s modern. It’s relaxed. It’s sophisticated without trying too hard. And importantly… they know how to feed a room full of men properly. The menu is built around bold flavours inspired by cuisines from around the world, designed to be enjoyed with a drink in hand. This isn’t delicate tasting plates and tiny forks. This is food built for good company and serious appetite. For the first time in a while, we have capacity to seat 50 of you. So if you’ve been waiting to bring that mate who “keeps meaning to come”, this is your window. What’s on the menu? Final details will be confirmed closer to the date, but expect a beef-forward lunch worthy of the club, paired with fresh Running With Thieves beer poured straight from the source. Who’s hosting? We’ll be hosted by the Running With Thieves team themselves, giving us insight into their brewery, distillery and what makes the venue one of Fremantle’s standouts. A few important house-keeping reminders: • Jacket and tie are compulsory. Dress jeans or chinos are perfectly acceptable. • The lunch is a strict 1:00pm start. The committee will be in set-up mode prior, so ensure your guests arrive on time. When booking a ticket for your guest, please enter their full name and email address so we can organise badges and ensure their ticket reaches them directly. Please drink responsibly and look after your mates. When introducing your guest, focus less on what they do and more on how you know them and why they belong at the table. This isn’t networking. It’s fellowship. With 50 seats available, we expect this one to fill. Ticket sales will close once capacity is reached. Good beer. Good beef. Good fellowship. Cheers, Prez Chook & Committee

Gentlemen, Where the f*ck is Jindong? Welcome back to the first Beer & Beef Club lunch of 2026, and we're heading directly to the source to find out all about Jindong Juicy and a few favourites you're likely already familiar with. While Rocky Ridge beers are no stranger to the club, this will be our first time hosting Beer & Beef at Rocky Ridge itself. From humble beginnings to becoming one of Western Australia’s most respected independent breweries, Rocky Ridge has built a reputation for quality, consistency and doing things properly. It’s a fitting setting to kick off the year. Expect great beer, excellent beef and the kind of relaxed, genuine fellowship that Beer & Beef Club is built on. With limited seats available, this lunch is expected to sell out. Ticket sales will close at 5:00pm on Friday 20th February, or earlier if capacity is reached. What’s on the menu? Details will be confirmed closer to the date, but you can expect a proper beef-focused lunch designed to be shared and enjoyed, paired with Rocky Ridge beers on tap. Who is the brewer? This one’s simple. We’ll be hosted by the Rocky Ridge team themselves, who will share the story behind the beers we’ll be enjoying on the day. A few important house-keeping reminders: Please inform your guest of our dress standards. Jacket and tie are compulsory. Dress jeans or chinos are perfectly acceptable. The lunch is a strict 1:00pm start. The committee will be in set-up mode prior to this, so please ensure your guests arrive on time. When booking a ticket for your guest, please enter their full name and email address so we can arrange badges and ensure the ticket is sent directly to them. Please drink responsibly and look after your mates. Finally, the club is about true fellowship. When introducing your guest, focus less on what they do for business and more on how you know them and why they’ll enjoy the lunch. This isn’t networking. It’s about good people, good conversation and enjoying the day together. We look forward to kicking off 2026 the right way. Looking to make more lunches this year? All of our lunch dates for 2026 have already been locked in. Hope to see you there next Friday... ***************************************************************************************** We would love to see you at this year's fundraising lunch which will take place on Friday 25th October at The Camfield!   The Beer & Beef Club have always had a strong drive to give back to those that need it most. For the past three years, we have been supporting and raising funds for Charlie’s Hope. Last year was our final year of fundraising for Charlie and we are so grateful to have been a part of his journey. We hope to see him back at the club when he reaches beer o'clock!    For the next three years, we have selected Ruah as the recipient of our fundraising efforts. Ruah provides a range of critical community services to West Australians that need it most. Providing resources and a safe haven for women and children experiencing domestic violence is a major focus for Ruah, however, they also extend their reach into combatting the housing and homelessness crisis; providing mental health and wellness resources; and providing much-needed legal services to our most vulnerable.    This year we have decided to host our fundraiser at The Camfield. We have had a few luncheons here before, and we thought that its large venue space is perfect for hosting our biggest event of the year! We are super excited to be hosting our first Ruah event here and we have a fantastic afternoon planned.    Our annual fundraiser is really special to the club as it is an Open Lunch! You are welcome to invite spouses, colleagues, and friends to come along and enjoy the afternoon. The beer sponsor for this event is yet to be announced, so keep your eyes and ears open! Hi Gents,    The September 2024 luncheon is being held at Kitsch Bar in Leederville!   Kitsch Bar is a new venue for the Beer & Beef club so we are excited to see what they have in store for us!    Kitsch defines itself as a hot, sweet, crispy, salty and sour mix of street food that sits at the centre of all occasions and celebrations of traditional Asian culture. The setting is inspired by humble night markets - bare bulbs, a flurry of chit chat, open flames and the sizzle and smell of food.    If you like Asian-fusion cuisine, this is not a lunch to miss! Most importantly, we will have Whitelakes Brewing supplying our beverages for the course of the afternoon.     Ticket sales will end at 5:00pm on Friday 20th September with only 45 seats available so don't delay!   Just a few quick "house-keeping" reminders: Please inform your guest of our dress standards - jacket and tie are compulsory - dress jeans/chinos are perfectly okay; The lunch is a strict 1:00pm start - the committee are still in set up phase prior to this (please inform your guests of this as well); When you book a ticket for your guest, please be sure to enter their name so we can arrange badges - as well as their email so a copy of the ticket is sent to them; Remember to drink responsibly and look after your mates; Finally, the club is about true fellowship, so when you introduce your guest(s) - it's not so much about their business and telling the room they should see them for "x" service - it's more about how you've met them and why they'd enjoy the lunch - it's more important to focus on the fellowship aspect, rather than introducing a networking flavour. Set the expectation for them right from the start so they can relax and just enjoy the day.   See you there for Good Beer, Good Beef and Good Fellowship!   Cheers Prez & Committee
