The Subiaco Hotel is an iconic institution that has stood on the corner of Hay Street since 1897. Over this time, the pub has seen many eras and only recently changed hands for the first time in 50 years. With the new revamp completed, Henry's Loft was created as a private venue space in honour of Henry Stirling Trigg - the original architect of the building.  Ticket sales will end at 5:00pm on Friday 21st February with only 40 seats available. For the past three years, we have been supporting and raising funds for Charlie’s Hope. Last year was our final year of fundraising for Charlie and we are so grateful to have been a part of his journey. We hope to see him back at the club when he reaches beer o'clock!    For the next three years, we have selected Ruah as the recipient of our fundraising efforts. Ruah provides a range of critical community services to West Australians that need it most. Providing resources and a safe haven for women and children experiencing domestic violence is a major focus for Ruah, however, they also extend their reach into combatting the housing and homelessness crisis; providing mental health and wellness resources; and providing much-needed legal services to our most vulnerable.    This year we have decided to host our fundraiser at The Camfield. We have had a few luncheons here before, and we thought that its large venue space is perfect for hosting our biggest event of the year! We are super excited to be hosting our first Ruah event here and we have a fantastic afternoon planned.    Our annual fundraiser is really special to the club as it is an Open Lunch! You are welcome to invite spouses, colleagues, and friends to come along and enjoy the afternoon. The beer sponsor for this event is yet to be announced, so keep your eyes and ears open! Most importantly, we will have Whitelakes Brewing supplying our beverages for the course of the afternoon.     Ticket sales will end at 5:00pm on Friday 20th September with only 45 seats available so don't delay!   Just a few quick "house-keeping" reminders: Please inform your guest of our dress standards - jacket and tie are compulsory - dress jeans/chinos are perfectly okay; The lunch is a strict 1:00pm start - the committee are still in set up phase prior to this (please inform your guests of this as well); When you book a ticket for your guest, please be sure to enter their name so we can arrange badges - as well as their email so a copy of the ticket is sent to them; Remember to drink responsibly and look after your mates; Finally, the club is about true fellowship, so when you introduce your guest(s) - it's not so much about their business and telling the room they should see them for "x" service - it's more about how you've met them and why they'd enjoy the lunch - it's more important to focus on the fellowship aspect, rather than introducing a networking flavour.
